Last week we arrived at the house we are renting in Le Puy Notre Dame, a small wine making village near Saumur in the Loire Valley. It’s beyond charming! Built in the 15th century with limestone walls, gorgeous wood beamed ceilings, really short doorways and two turret staircases. The courtyard houses lovely gardens with many perfect options to sit with a good book and a glass of bubbly. We can hear the bells from the cathedral every 30 minutes and I’ve decided they are tolling “it’s time to kiss your wife!” Keith is happily obliging as we have many kiss-less days to make up for. Which leads me to the reason for this lovely summer of decadence… Keith Harrop has completed his MBA! Congratulations, mi amour.
We’re off to Paris tomorrow for a few days, yes, it’s super fun to be me!
